Covering the years from 2027 to 2070, the book lists 31 predictions, including AI monks performing rituals, temples integrating with hotels, fire cremation that fully vaporizes remains, the disappearance of posthumous Buddhist names (kaimyō), and the rise of tree burials. What may seem speculative is backed by credible analysis—many of these trends, such as simplified funerals and “grave closures,” are already reality.
