Spring Trekking Event on Myoken Mountain by at FOREST: Reflecting on Life and Death in Nature
環境に配慮した埋葬スタイル「循環葬®︎ RETURN TO NATURE」を展開するat FOREST株式会社（本社：神戸市）は、2025年4月26日（土）に大阪・妙見山で「春風トレッキング at 妙見山」を開催する。里山の自然を感じながら、登山初心者でも参加できる8kmの旧参道を歩くもので、自然の循環と人の生死に向き合う時間を共有することを目的とする。

(based in Kobe), which promotes the eco-conscious burial method “Circular Burial®︎ RETURN TO NATURE,” will host the event “Spring Wind Trekking at Myoken Mountain” on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The 8km trail follows an old pilgrimage route, offering a tranquil experience that invites even first-time hikers to reflect on the cycle of life and death in nature.
当日は、能勢電鉄「妙見口」駅に集合し、山ガイドの案内で上杉尾根コースを往復。途中には、大阪平野を見下ろす絶景ポイントや、献灯・茶屋跡といった歴史の痕跡が点在する。参加費は500円、定員は15名で、Peatixにて事前予約を受け付けている。
Participants will gather at Nose Electric Railway’s “Myoken-guchi” Station and follow a round-trip course along the Uesugi Ridge Trail, guided by mountain experts. The route includes breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the Osaka Plain and remnants of old tea houses and altars. The fee is ¥500, with a 15-person limit. Reservations are accepted via Peatix.
at FORESTは、死亡数が増加する多死社会の現実と、死に向き合う機会が乏しい現代の価値観の狭間にあるギャップに注目。人の死を自然の中で再び“いのち”として還元する「循環葬」を、森林再生や自然資本の保全と結びつけた社会的取り組みとして展開してきた。今回のイベントは、そうした思想を広く一般に体感してもらうための第一歩でもある。
Recognizing the disconnect in modern Japan between the growing reality of a “super-aged society” and the tendency to avoid discussions of death, at FOREST developed “Circular Burial” as a way to return human remains to nature while simultaneously restoring forest ecosystems. This event marks a step toward sharing that philosophy with the broader public.
循環葬「RETURN TO NATURE」では、墓標を持たず、自然林に遺骨を還すことで、死を森づくりに繋げるスタイルを提案。大阪・能勢町の放置林を再生した森を拠点とし、売上の一部を森林保全団体に寄付するなど、仕組みとしても自然循環に貢献する。
RETURN TO NATURE proposes a gravestone-free burial method where cremated remains are returned directly to forest soil. Using regenerated woodlands in Nose, Osaka as a base, the program reinvests part of its earnings into forest conservation, making each burial a contribution to environmental sustainability.
主催者は「循環葬の森を“死者のための墓地”にとどまらず、生きる人にも開かれた健やかな場所にしていきたい」と語り、今後も自然の中で“生と死”を考えるさまざまなイベントを開催していく方針だ。
The organizer hopes to develop these forests not only as places for the deceased but as spaces for the living to find peace. They plan to continue organizing events that offer opportunities to contemplate life and death through direct experiences in nature.
