Nowhere Group Co., Ltd. (Nakano-ku, Tokyo), known for reinterpreting local culture through lodging facility management, announced its participation in Airbnb Japan’s “Airbnb Partners” program.
同社は空き家や歴史的建物をリノベーションし、地域文化や歴史を活かした宿泊施設を運営している。当メディアが注目するのは、山梨県甲州市・恵林寺境内の宿坊「ZEN&BED 望月庵」である。
The company renovates vacant houses and historic buildings to operate accommodation facilities highlighting local culture and history. Among these, our media specifically highlights “ZEN&BED Bogetuan,” a temple lodging within the precincts of Erinji Temple in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
望月庵は、戦国武将・武田信玄の菩提寺として知られる恵林寺の僧侶用住居を改築した施設である。「禅」をコンセプトとし、坐禅や写経などの文化体験プログラムを提供。単なる宿泊にとどまらない「物語ある滞在」を実現している。
Bogetuan is a facility renovated from monks’ quarters at Erinji Temple, known as the family temple of the Sengoku warlord Shingen Takeda. With “Zen” as its core concept, it offers cultural experiences such as zazen meditation and sutra copying. Mochizukian provides guests with more than mere lodging, creating story-rich stays.
