Kyoto’s World Heritage Site Ninna-ji Temple Offers Limited Summer Kirie Goshuin “Five-Storied Pagoda and Hydrangea”
夏限定切り絵御朱印「五重塔と紫陽花」
京都市右京区にある世界遺産・仁和寺では、2025年6月1日から夏季限定の切り絵御朱印「五重塔と紫陽花」の授与を開始した。これは株式会社エルターナル（東京都中央区、代表取締役 小久保隆泰）のプロデュースによるもの。
Ninna-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Kyoto’s Ukyo Ward, began offering a limited-edition summer kirie goshuin titled “Five-Storied Pagoda and Hydrangea” on June 1, 2025. This initiative is produced by ELternal Inc. (Tokyo, CEO Takayasu Kokubo).
今回の御朱印は、初夏の日差しを感じさせる扇形の台紙に、黄色から黄緑への涼しげなグラデーションが施されている。台紙左側には、繊細な切り絵で表現された仁和寺の象徴である五重塔と、その足元に静かに咲く二輪の紫陽花が描かれ、歴史的建造物と季節の花が美しく調和している。
The goshuin features a refreshing gradation from yellow to light green on a fan-shaped paper, reminiscent of the early summer landscape. It intricately depicts Ninna-ji’s iconic Five-Storied Pagoda and two hydrangea blossoms at its base, harmoniously combining historical architecture with seasonal beauty.
仁和寺は真言宗御室派の総本山として知られ、境内には江戸時代に建立された五重塔や仁王門があり、4月中旬には名物の御室桜が見頃を迎える。平成6年に世界遺産に登録され、国内外から多くの参拝者が訪れる寺院として知られている。
Ninna-ji, head temple of the Omuro school of Shingon Buddhism, is renowned for its Five-Storied Pagoda and Niomon gate, dating back to the Edo period. Its famous Omuro cherry blossoms attract visitors every April. Recognized as a World Heritage site in 1994, Ninna-ji draws numerous pilgrims from around the globe.
