Take Shrine Offers Limited Goshuin for Saio Festival — Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture, June 7–30
三重県明和町の竹神社（多気郡斎宮）では、2025年6月7日に開催される第42回斎王まつりにあわせて、「斎王まつり特別御朱印」の頒布が始まる。頒布期間は6月7日から30日までの土日と満月の日で、社務所で受け付ける。
Take Shrine in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture (Saiku, Taki District), will begin offering a special limited-edition goshuin (shrine seal) on June 7, 2025, to commemorate the 42nd Saio Festival. The seals will be available on weekends and full moon days through June 30 at the shrine’s administrative office.
同神社では、当日まつりの神事として斎王による玉串奉奠（ほうてん）が予定されており、これを記念した企画となる。頒布時間は通常10時から15時だが、斎王まつり当日（7日）と満月参り（11日）は19時まで延長される。
The seal commemorates a special ritual in which the Saio (Imperial Princess Priestess) will offer a tamagushi (sacred branch) at the shrine during the festival. While the usual distribution hours are from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, they will be extended until 7:00 PM on the day of the festival (June 7) and on the full moon (June 11).
竹神社は1911年、旧斎宮村の25社を合祀して創建された。現在の社地は、かつて斎王の御殿があったとされる場所に位置し、歴史的背景を有する。
Take Shrine was founded in 1911 through the consolidation of 25 shrines from the former Saiku village. The current site is believed to be the location of the historical residence of the Saio, adding to its cultural significance.
近年は地域住民と明和観光商社が連携し、境内整備や御朱印の頒布、花手水の管理などを通じて神社の再活性化が進められている。
In recent years, the shrine has been revitalized through collaboration between local residents and the Meiwa Tourism Corporation. Efforts include grounds maintenance, floral water basin displays, and the organized distribution of goshuin.
