A Guide to Kanagawa’s Sacred Sites: New Book “Kanagawa Power Spots – Kami-Musubi” Out on July 18
株式会社有隣堂（横浜市）は、2025年7月18日に新刊『神奈川パワースポット 神むすび』を刊行する。著者はパワースポット案内人として知られる下川友子氏。国内外で3,000カ所以上の聖地を訪れてきた経験をもとに、神奈川県内の神社仏閣や自然信仰の聖地を独自の視点で紹介している。
Yurindo Co., Ltd. (based in Yokohama) will release its latest publication, Kanagawa Power Spots – Kami-Musubi, on July 18, 2025. The author, Tomoko Shimokawa—known as a “power spot guide”—draws on her experience visiting over 3,000 sacred places in Japan and abroad to introduce shrines, temples, and spiritually significant natural sites across Kanagawa Prefecture.
本書では、箱根神社、大山阿夫利神社、江島神社、大雄山最乗寺などの著名な寺院や神社に加え、真鶴や三浦半島の“隠れた聖地”も取り上げている。お参りの仕方や神仏との向き合い方に加え、運気を受け取るための心構えや自然とのつながりの大切さもわかりやすく解説されている。
The book covers well-known sites such as Hakone Shrine, Oyama Afuri Shrine, Enoshima Shrine, and Daiyuzan Saijo-ji Temple, as well as lesser-known sacred places in Manazuru and the Miura Peninsula. It offers practical advice on how to approach worship, connect with deities and nature, and receive positive spiritual energy.
目次構成では、神奈川県内のパワースポットを「観光×信仰」の観点からエリア別・目的別に紹介。さらに、巻末には「日本の神さま・仏さまのキホン」と題した付録が収録されており、山岳信仰や水神、龍神信仰などの信仰体系とパワースポットの関係についても概説されている。
Organized by region and purpose, the book presents Kanagawa’s power spots from both spiritual and tourism perspectives. An appendix titled “Essentials of Japanese Deities and Buddhas” outlines belief systems such as mountain worship, water and dragon deity traditions, and how these relate to modern power spots.
パワースポットを単なるスピリチュアルな話題として扱うのではなく、日本古来の自然観や宗教観との関連性にまで踏み込んだ内容となっており、神奈川県内の寺社を訪れるすべての人にとって、信仰と観光の架け橋となる一冊といえる。
