Otera Oyatsu Club Expands Partnerships But Faces Deficit—2024 Impact Report Released
子どもの貧困問題の解決を目指す認定NPO法人おてらおやつクラブ（本部：奈良県田原本町、代表理事：松島靖朗）は、2024年度の活動をまとめたインパクトレポートを公開した。
Otera Oyatsu Club, a certified nonprofit organization based in Tawaramoto, Nara Prefecture, has released its 2024 impact report outlining the results of its support activities for the year.
同団体は、全国の寺院から寄せられた「おそなえ」を「おさがり」として受け取り、支援団体を通じて困窮するひとり親家庭などへ「おすそわけ」を届ける活動を展開している。
The organization collects offerings from temples nationwide and redistributes them as “osagari” (shared blessings) to single-parent households in need, in cooperation with various support organizations.
2024年度は、他の支援団体との連携を強化した結果、連携団体数は前年比114.7％の936団体に増加。直接支援を受けた家庭数も16,570世帯と前年から約1.5倍に拡大した。
In 2024, the number of affiliated support organizations increased to 936—up 114.7% from the previous year. Direct assistance reached 16,570 households, approximately 1.5 times more than the prior year.
一方、受取寄付金は総額4,987万8702円と前年比69.3％にとどまり、財務は赤字に転じた。寄付収入の減少により、支援体制の維持が困難な状況が続いている。
However, total donations amounted to ¥49,878,702, only 69.3% of the previous year’s figure, resulting in a financial deficit. The drop in funding has made it difficult to sustain current support operations.
調査データによれば、初めて支援を受けた家庭では「人とのつながりを実感する」といった項目で前年より8ポイント以上スコアが低下した。支援物資の到着までに時間を要する点が影響した可能性がある。
According to internal surveys, first-time recipients showed more than an 8-point decline in indicators such as “feeling connected to others.” Delays in delivery of aid materials may have contributed to this trend.
この結果を受け、同団体は支援の即時性を重視した運用に方針を転換。「簡単・迅速・匿名」の3点を基本とした支援体制の再構築を進める。
In response, the organization has decided to prioritize immediacy in its delivery model. Plans are underway to restructure operations based on three principles: simplicity, speed, and anonymity.
全国での物価高騰により支援ニーズが高まる一方、寄付の減少が課題となっており、今後は金融機関の協力を得てつなぎ融資の検討も進めるとしている。
With rising prices nationwide increasing the demand for aid, the decline in donations remains a pressing concern. The group is now exploring bridge financing options with the help of financial institutions.
おてらおやつクラブは今後も、自治体や支援団体との連携を通じて、支援が届きにくい家庭へのアプローチを続ける考えを示している。
Otera Oyatsu Club intends to continue working with local governments and partner organizations to reach households that often fall through the cracks in existing support systems.
