Tokai TV’s Shrine Documentary Tracing the Fate of Prayers to Air June 22

人は神に何を願い、その願いは叶うのか。全国の神社で参拝する人々の「願い事」と、その“ゆくえ”を追うドキュメントバラエティ番組『ウワサの神社でナニ願う？ ～願い事のゆくえ大追跡！～』が、6月22日（日）16時5分から、東海テレビ制作・フジテレビ系列全国ネットで放送される。
What do people ask of the gods, and are their prayers answered? Tokai TV presents a documentary-variety program, “What Do They Wish For at That Shrine? Tracing the Fate of Prayers”, airing nationwide via Fuji TV network on Sunday, June 22, at 4:05 PM.
番組では、神田明神（東京都）や大杉神社（茨城県）、蛇窪神社（東京都）など、各地の「ウワサの神社」を訪ね、参拝者にインタビュー。番組スタッフがその後を追跡し、願いがどうなったかを明らかにする。
The show visits well-known “talked-about” shrines such as Kanda Myojin (Tokyo), Osugi Shrine (Ibaraki), and Hebikubo Shrine (Tokyo), interviewing worshippers and later following up on whether their wishes came true.
番組で取り上げられるのは、クイズ全国大会で勝利を目指す教師や、夢を追いかけるママさんボディビルダー、人間関係に悩む女性など。縁切りや金運上昇など、多様な願いが描かれる。
Featured stories include a teacher aiming to win a national quiz contest, a mother pursuing her dream of becoming a professional bodybuilder, and a woman struggling with family ties. The program explores various types of wishes, from severing unwanted connections to seeking financial fortune.
出演は、MCの山里亮太（南海キャンディーズ）、立川志らく、堀田茜、そして神社ソムリエこと佐々木優太。人生の節目に神に祈る人々の姿を見守る。
The studio cast includes host Ryota Yamasato (Nankai Candies), rakugo performer Shiraku Tatekawa, actress Akane Hotta, and “Shrine Sommelier” Yuta Sasaki. Together, they observe the people who turn to the divine at critical moments in life.
長崎県壱岐島の海に浮かぶ「ポツンと神社」や、300人以上が行列をなす蛇窪神社なども登場。“願いのゆくえ”を通じて、現代日本の信仰と人生模様に迫る1時間となる。
The show also features the solitary offshore shrine on Iki Island in Nagasaki and the immensely popular Jakuzure Shrine, which draws lines of over 300 people. Through the journey of each prayer, the program offers a unique look into modern Japan’s faith and personal stories.
