山形県鶴岡市で、9つの神社仏閣が連携して「夏詣（なつもうで）」を実施する。開催期間は2025年7月1日から6日までの6日間。
Nine religious institutions in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, will jointly host a six-day “Natsumoude” summer worship event from July 1 to 6, 2025.
新年の初詣から半年を経て、無病息災と平穏を願う夏詣は、静かな境内を巡ることで心を整える現代的な信仰習慣として全国に広がりつつある。鶴岡市では荘内神社の呼びかけをきっかけに、出羽三山神社や善寳寺を含む市内各所の寺社が一体となり、初めての合同開催に至った。
Following New Year’s “Hatsumoude,” this mid-year practice—offering gratitude and prayers for good health and peace—is gaining traction nationwide. In Tsuruoka, a call from Shōnai Shrine has led to a citywide collaboration with temples and shrines including the renowned Dewa Sanzan Shrine and Zenpōji Temple.
この取り組みには、地域観光を担う一般社団法人DEGAM鶴岡ツーリズムビューローも加わり、共通の「夏詣」のぼりが掲げられるほか、夏詣印入りの御朱印や一部の寺社において限定御朱印の授与も予定されている。
The regional tourism organization DEGAM Tsuruoka Tourism Bureau is also participating in this initiative. During the event, unified “Summer Pilgrimage” banners will be displayed at participating sites, and special goshuin (temple and shrine stamps) bearing the Summer Pilgrimage seal, along with limited-edition goshuin at selected locations, are planned to be offered.
参加寺社は、玉川寺、金峯神社、三瀬氣比神社、正善院、荘内神社、善寳寺、大督寺、大日坊、出羽三山神社(五十音順）の9カ所。各所でそれぞれ異なる祈りと文化が息づいており、巡礼のモデルコースが「つるおか観光ナビ」上で紹介されている。
The nine participating temples and shrines—Gyokusen-ji, Kinbō Shrine, Sanze Kibi Shrine, Shōzen-in, Shōnai Shrine, Zenpōji, Daitokuji, Dainichibō, and the Dewa Sanzan Shrine (listed in alphabetical order)—each foster unique spiritual traditions and cultural backgrounds. Pilgrimage model routes connecting these sites are featured on Tsuruoka’s official tourism website, “Tsuruoka Kankō Navi.”
鶴岡の祈りの風景に触れながら、心静かに次の半年へと向き合う。「夏詣」は、日常から一歩離れた場所で、感謝と願いをかたちにする時間となる。
In these sacred spaces, visitors are invited to pause and reflect at the year’s midpoint. “Natsumoude” offers a quiet interlude to express gratitude and hopes for the months ahead.
