■Togo Shrine’s Chief Priest Reveals “Breakfast” in a Video Series Project Closely Following Daily Life
東京・原宿の東郷神社で宮司を務める福田勉氏が、YouTube「通勤タイムス」チャンネルの人気シリーズ『伝説の朝ごはん』に出演し、日々の朝食や生活習慣を紹介している。動画はYouTubeチャンネルほか各SNSで配信されており、U-NEXTでも5月以降に公開予定。
Tsutomu Fukuda, priest at Togo Shrine in Harajuku, Tokyo, appears in the popular “Legendary Breakfast” series on the YouTube “Commuting Times” channel, introducing his daily breakfast and lifestyle habits. The videos are available on the YouTube channel and other social networking sites, and will be available on U-NEXT from May onward.
『伝説の朝ごはん』は、ジャーナリストや文化人など、各分野の人物に密着し、その朝の過ごし方を淡々と描くシリーズ。これまでに田原総一朗氏などが登場し、SNSでは累計再生数3,000万回を超えるなど反響を呼んでいる。
“Legendary Breakfast” is a series that closely follows people in various fields, including journalists and cultural figures, and unflinchingly describes how they spend their mornings. So far, the series has featured such personalities as Soichiro Tahara, and has received a strong response on SNS, with a cumulative total of more than 30 million views.
今回登場する福田氏は、東郷平八郎を祀る東郷神社の宮司。神職としての立場からも注目される中、自らの朝食について「パン派」である理由を語りつつ、参拝前の準備や日課の様子を紹介する内容となっている。
Mr. Fukuda, who appears in the series this time, is the chief priest of Togo Shrine, which enshrines Heihachiro Togo. While attracting attention for his position as a priest, he talks about why he is a “bread person” when it comes to his own breakfast, and introduces his preparations and daily routine before visiting the shrine.
