■Eizan Railway Offers “Fresh Green Maple Ride” with Special Train for Kifune Shrine Light-Up
新緑のもみじのトンネルを走る展望列車「きらら」
「青もみじ新緑のライトアップ」過去開催時の様子
叡山電鉄株式会社（京都市左京区）は、2025年4月19日から5月31日まで、鞍馬線の市原駅～二ノ瀬駅間にある通称「もみじのトンネル」区間で、「青もみじ新緑の徐行運転」を実施する。この時期特有の青もみじの美しさを楽しんでもらうため、列車は通常より速度を落として走行する。
Eizan Electric Railway (Kyoto) will operate its annual “Fresh Green Maple Slow-Speed Operation” from April 19 to May 31, 2025, on the Kurama Line between Ichihara and Ninose stations. Trains will reduce speed to allow passengers to enjoy the lush green maples that define this scenic section, known as the “Momiji Tunnel.”
さらに、5月3日から6日の4日間は、同区間にて「青もみじ新緑のライトアップ」を実施。通過列車は車内の照明を消灯し、幻想的な新緑の演出を行う。
Additionally, from May 3 to 6, the company will hold the “Fresh Green Maple Light-up” in the same area. During this period, trains passing through will turn off interior lights, creating a serene and magical atmosphere.
「青もみじ新緑のライトアップ」初日の5月3日には、展望列車「きらら」を使用した夜間の「新緑ライトアップ特別列車」も運行。停車中の車窓からもみじのトンネルの新緑を鑑賞できる。
On May 3, a special evening train, the “Fresh Green Light-up Special Kirara,” will operate. The train will stop within the Momiji Tunnel to offer passengers a unique view of the illuminated fresh greenery through its windows.
